Today, I have had my first talk with Ian and I'm very lucky that he has taken time to talk to me even if he was sick. He is very friendly and also curious.
His parents are divorced and he has always lived in California. He has already travelled but he was very young so he doesn't remember but he would like to go in India because his best friend is Indian, and also in France, Scotland, England. He is very interested in history and that's why he is studying history and he wants to visit France. He speaks French well and he also speaks Spanish.
He lives in a flat on the campus of his university and there is not a lot of parties on the campus he said, because there is a lot of nerds in it. A fraternity of his university wants him to become a member but it's very expensive (1600 $ per year) so he is still hesitating.
He likes listening to music, like me he likes electronic music and he plays the guitar when he has time. He practiced sports like lacrosse, volleyball and sailboarding. He loves driving (and so do I), and he has an old BMW which is 32 years old and which name is Linda. He told me that in the United States people don't understand the interest of having a small car and that they all have big cars.
I really enjoyed talking to Ian and I want to know more about him.
